Books, Manuscripts
Civilians on the Angus Home Front during World War I experienced great upheaval. Initially it was thought that the war would be a swift one, but as the years passed people found their lives being increasingly affected. Their efforts and sacrifices from the Home Front played a huge part in the final victory. This booklet explores some of the situations and events they encountered and the work they did, as recorded in the local press.
